I am interested in morality, cooperation, cultural evolution, and how these things interact. I am particularly interested in magical thinking and understandings of causality in economic games, the mechanisms responsible for moral decision-making, and information transmission via culture. I investigate these questions using a combination of behavioral methods and tools from information theory.
